Friday Sermon on Qatar TV: With Some Women, Life is Impossible Unless You Carry a Rod

In this sermon, aired on Qatar TV in 2004, the preacher recommends the practice of wife-beating in three cases: when the wife is brought up this way and is accustomed to beatings, when she is condescending toward her husband, or if she is a "twisted woman, who will not obey her husband unless he beats her." A man cannot live with such women, he said, "unless he carries a rod on his shoulder."
